Studied Yang Taijiquan Long Form, Newport, Oregon, 1978 - 1980

Studied Yang Taijiquan short form, 24-style, Yang sword form, Chen style, San Shou, with Dr. Jay Dunbar of the Magic Tortoise School, 1980 - 1984.

Participated in several workshops with other masters while studying with Magic Tortoise, including: Jou, Tsung, Hwa, Ben Lo, and William C.C. Chen. 1980 - 1984.

With Dr. Jay, organized student Taijiquan Club at UNC-Chapel Hill; served as president, and assisted as instructor of beginning classes. 1983- 1984.

Workshop on Yang long form with Master T.T. Liang, Tai Chi Farm, 1983.

Studied Hsing I with Vince Black, Blacksburg VA, 1985 - 1989.

Taught 24-style Taijiquan, Chen style through YMCA free university, Blacksburg, VA 1985 - 1993.

Taught Chen style through Blacksburg Karate School, 1990.

Organized Taijiquan workshops in Blacksburg for various guest teachers including: Grandmaster Jou, Tsung Hwa, Pat Rice & Steve Rhodes, Almanzo Lamoureux and a san shou intensive with Dr. Jay Dunbar & Kathleen Cusick.

Participated in various Taijiquan and Qigong workshops 1990 - present organized by Taste of China, Winchester, VA, including Master T.K. Shih, Master Nick Gracenin, Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming, and Dr. Jay Dunbar.

Taught Yang short form at Westminster Karate School, 1996.

Teaching 24-style Taijiquan, Chen style, and Yang sword, Westminster, MD through Carroll Community College, 1994 - present.
